10 am: Sweet breakfast
Breakfast in Mallorca is often sweet and has a lot of calories. The most famous candy and the favorite souvenir is the Ensaimada – of course with a good portion of powdered sugar. You can buy the special cale for example at the 300 year old Chocolateria Ca’n Joan de S’aigo in the old town.

11 am: A little bit of culture
Then the famous La Seu cathedral is on the agenda. The landmarks stands high above the sea, in the morning the sun makes colorful light effects at the huge rose window in the 110-meter-long nave. Interesting: The Gaudí candlesticks on the altar.

1 pm: Visiting the old town
Now it’s time for a stroll through the winding streets of the historic city, which is among the best preserved in Europe. On the Placa Major in central craft you can buy some craft. The surrounding streets are packed with countless small shops with unusual souvenirs or Spanish fashion.

11 am: Like some culture?
If you are interested in culture, the city with its numerous museums and galleries offers you a lot of variety. The visitors of the Palau March Museu will see works of Salvador Dalí. Behind the thick walls of a historical city palace, the descendants of Mallorcan Joan March show an impressive collection of artworks.

12 am: Sun bath at the beach
Who has still some left, should relax for a few hours at the city beach of Palma. In the southeast of the capital there is a long sandy beach that extends up to the party mile in Arenal. From the city it is only two kilometers to the Nassau Beach Club. They offer nice cocktails and fine cuisine.
