So when arriving at the airport: After a short 15 minutes taxi ride for 20 US Dollars I checked in at the Four-Star-Hotel Southern Palms Beach Club. After 11 hours flight from Germany I walk directly to the beach with my pink beach towel that every guest receives for the duration of the stay.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/02_Southern_Palms_cThomas_Sbikowski.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1986\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/02_Southern_Palms_cThomas_Sbikowski.jpg\" alt=\"02_Southern_Palms_(c)Thomas_Sbikowski\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Southern Palms offers 92 rooms and suites, most with a nice sea view. The beginning of the four-star hotel dates back to the 1950s, today the hotel <span class=\"hps\">offers beautiful <\/span><span class=\"hps\">colonial mansions and modern architect houses with very different rooms to the guests. The six buildings of Southern Palms shine in colorful pink,<\/span> in the <span class=\"hps\">inside nice furniture and colorful patterns ensure Caribbean flavor<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Poolansicht.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2008\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Poolansicht.jpg\" alt=\"Poolansicht\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">All rooms have a balcony or terrace<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">the beach is always only a few steps away<\/span>. T<span class=\"hps\">he view from the two-story suites with their huge windows is absolutely amazing. <\/span><span class=\"hps\">When I open the door to my room with the keycard (there are pink palms on it!), I was really surprised<\/span><span class=\"hps\">! On the lower floor a small kitchen with<\/span> a <span class=\"hps\">huge fridge for ice and cold drinks is waiting for me<\/span>, directly followed by a large living room with a <span class=\"hps\">sofa, coffee table<\/span>, dining area <span class=\"hps\">and<\/span> large <span class=\"hps\">windows<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">Curiously<\/span> I open the <span class=\"hps\">balcony door and enjoy the view over the hotel pool to the beach<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Blick-aufs-Meer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2003\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Blick-aufs-Meer.jpg\" alt=\"Blick aufs Meer\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Then I climb <\/span><span class=\"hps\">the stairs to the upper floor of my small duplex apartment and<\/span> find a <span class=\"hps\">huge king size bed with a caribbean colorful bedspread<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">But the highlight <\/span><span class=\"hps\">is the view through the huge windows<\/span>! <span class=\"hps\">Large palm trees<\/span>, white <span class=\"hps\">beach and turquoise sea shine through them<\/span>! <span class=\"hps\">There is also a <\/span><span class=\"hps\">walk-in closet and<\/span> a bathroom with a tub. <span class=\"hps\">An exterior door leads to the large roof terrace with two sun beds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Suite_zweist\u00f6ckig.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2007\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Suite_zweist\u00f6ckig.jpg\" alt=\"Suite_zweist\u00f6ckig\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">At the restaurant a Steel Band<\/span> is playing <span class=\"hps\">regularly Caribbean rhythms<\/span>, in the afternoon <span class=\"hps\">there is a free English Teatime at one of the hotel pools.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Restaurant_Pool.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2004\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Restaurant_Pool.jpg\" alt=\"Restaurant_Pool\" width=\"1000\" height=\"625\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Before breakfast I jump into the sea<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">yet the waves are low. In the afternoon local wind surfers<\/span> come <span class=\"hps\">with their boards to the beach and surf clever about the now growing waves. Cheering loudly, I jump into the sea again and let me drive by the waves back to the beach<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/St.Lawrence-Gap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2006\" src=\"http:\/\/justluxetravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/St.Lawrence-Gap.jpg\" alt=\"St.Lawrence Gap\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the evening I discover another advantage Dover Beach! On the other side of the hotel there is the famous St. Lawrence Gap which attracts with its countless Caribbean restaurants and bars! I start with a colorful rum punch at the beach and choose one of the restaurants serving Caribbean cuisine. I try the Flying Fish.
