With the quick catamaran we arrive from the Thai island Koh Tao to the neighboring island of Koh Samui.<\/p>\n

\nThe boat stops at the north of the popular island, the pier is in the far east of Mae Nam. From here it is only a short walk to the four-star Hotel Saree Samui<\/a>.<\/p>\n

53 villas are belonging to the boutique hotel, they are located in a wide lush garden. Each of the traditional Thai-Balinese furnished villas offers on more than 100 square meters a private, secluded garden and an open living and bathroom.<\/p>\n

A villa with private garden<\/h3>\n

We stay in one of the 35 Tropical Villas. This is the simplest category but the room has a lot of space! Through a small wooden door we step into the garden of \u201cour\u201d villa and an open living room with a freshly filled fruit basket is waiting for us.<\/p>\n

Also from the open bedroom we can walk directly into the garden. If it is too warm, we can close the large glass doors and use the air conditioning.<\/p>\n

\nThe bathroom is open – and thus always nice and warm. Taking a shower in the open air – a great experience!<\/p>\n

In addition to the “Tropical Villas” there are six “Beachfront Villas” with a stunning sea view, both categories are available in the version “Pool Villa:. Eight garden and four beachfront villas own a small pool in the private garden. For honeymooners the pool is decorated with traditional orchids and flowers.<\/p>\n

Narrow paths wind through the tropical forest to the massage parlor on the beach …<\/p>\n

… and to the dark green 35-meter infinity pool overlooking the neighboring island of Koh Phangan. On holidays, I’m an early riser and at 7 a.m. I hop in the huge pool and swim my tracks. The first guests come until around half past eight and reserve a sunchair for the day at the beach.<\/p>\n

Swimming is hardly wavy sea is no problem, even kids splash in the shallow water.
\nAfter my morning exercise I walk from the garden villa through the resort to the beach restaurant. Most tables have a wonderful sea view and so I take my time for a long breakfast with omelets and fresh fruit on the terrace and start comfortably in the day.<\/p>\n

For today I’ve rented a moped at the reception and want to explore the island.<\/p>\n
