For many people, the Maldives are the dream destination par excellence – even for me! And so I made my way to the new luxury hotel Atmosphere Kanifushi<\/a> and explored the small island for you. Snorkeling excursions, fantastic food and great wines from all over the world \u2013 there is so much already included, when you make a booking for this luxury resort!<\/p>\n

\"Kanifushi<\/a><\/p>\n

The journey was very long, but the last part of the tour is beautiful!<\/p>\n

We fly half an hour with a small seaplane from the capital Mal\u00e9 over the beautiful island world to the small island Kanifushi. The jetty is already visible from a distance and in a few minutes we will land there.<\/p>\n

The super nice and very international hotel team welcomes all guests with drums and shaking hands – Welcome on Kanifushi Island!<\/p>\n

The five-star hotel opened in December 2013 on a previously uninhabited island on the western tip of the sparsely populated Lhaviyani atoll. There are 150 villas under tropical bushes along the two-kilometer white beach, some of them have a private pool. We jump into a golf caddy an a nice guy drives us to our more remote villa.<\/p>\n

Upon our arrival it is almost dark and we are excited to inspect our Beach Villa. It is a huge room with king size bed, desk, minibar (will be filled twice a day, that is already included in the all-inclusive variant “Platinum Plus”) and large closets offer plenty of space. Behind the wide glass doors the sea is waiting for us!<\/p>\n

The bathroom is outside, but it has a roof over so that we are protected from tropical rain even while taking a bath in the bath tub.<\/p>\n

We love the warm welcome at the villa and before dinner we try a glass of champagne.<\/p>\n

The next morning, before breakfast, we hop into the wonderfully warm, turquoise sea. A few fish swim around, but who wants to see the beautiful coral, has to take part in one of the free snorkeling trips to the reef. These are available twice a day, the trips are also included. We swim in the sea, in the 50-meter swimming pool in front of the bar “The Liquid” or the slightly shorter pool in front of the Sunset bar, children play in their own pool.<\/p>\n

Some villas even have their own pool!<\/p>\n

My favorite dish is the fresh tuna, which can be enjoyed for lunch by the pool at the Sunset Restaurant. The meals in the main restaurant “The Spice” (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are part of the All-Inclusive “Platinum Plus”, also the snacks at the pool bar “The Liquid”. For lunch you can get free a la carte meals in “The Sunset” and even the delicious menus in the first vegetarian restaurant in the Maldives “Just veg” are inclusive.<\/p>\n

\"Atmosphere<\/a><\/p>\n

Even after one week it is not boring at the small island. Every day the hotel offers exciting excursions, for example to the inhabited neighboring islands or to the tuna farm. In the morning and afternoon there are free snorkelling trips to different reefs. There are several pools, tennis courts, a spa with a large selection of massage and spa treatments, and of course the ability to make a diving certificate or single dives at the island’s dive center!<\/p>\n

In addition, you will find everywhere magnificent and lonely places to simply enjoy the sun and relax.<\/p>\n
